I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 2 Timothy 4:7.
Earl C. Massey, born November 30, 1924 in Beaumont, Texas now a resident of Conroe, Texas fought the good fight for 92 years and went to receive the jewels in his crown on December 29, 2016.
He served in the Army in WWII. He received 2 Bronze Stars and multiple citations for his time in the Asian-Pacific theatre and in Burma with the 209th Engineers, Company B. He was honored to be able to go on the first Lonestar Honor Flight to the WWII Memorial from Montgomery to Washington, DC.
Earl was an IBEW 479 Beaumont Texas member for over 65 years. He was respected in his field and served as an Electrical Code Consultant with other cities in the United States.
